How can I bid in the auction?

There are 4 different ways for you to participate in our auction:

You could be present in our auctioning hall when the auction takes place.

You could send us your pre-auction bid(s) in writing

You could follow the auction by phone

Who decides on the prices of the items?

The limit is set or determined in agreement between the supplier of the items and our team of experts.


What is the buyer's premium?

The buyer's premium is the commission fee of the auctioneers for their work.

The purchase price comprises the selling price in the auction and the buyer's premium of 21,5 % plus the legal VAT of 19 %, but this last only on the buyer's premium (25,6 % altogether)

For internet bidders via the 'the saleroom' the buyer's premium amounts to 24,5 % plus the legal VAT of 19 % only on the buyer's premium (29,2 % altogether).


Does anticomondo deliver to all countries?

Yes, anticomondo delivers worldwide without any restrictions.


How can I pay for the items I have successfully bid on in an auction?

Bidders who are personally present during the auction get their invoice when they return their bidder's card. This invoice has to be paid in cash or by EC card immediately.

As a remote bidder you may pay by bank transfer or PayPal. A payment by PayPal is only possible up to the amount of 150.00 €.


When will I receive the items I have successfully bid on in the auction?

If present during the auction you shall receive the items you have successfully bid on, immediately after you have paid your invoice.

If a remote bidder, you shall get your items after we have received your payment in our bank account.


How do I get the items I have successfully bid on?

If you do not want to collect your items yourself, we will be pleased to send them to you. Within Europe we send the goods by UPS, by DHL or FedEx to overseas countries.


How much are the delivery costs?

For delivery within Germany, the costs amount to 10.00 € netto, within Europe up to 25.00 € netto per parcel, for international oversea packages charge will be at cost. 

Delivery costs for major, extraordinarily heavy or bulky items are charged according to the actual expenses incurred.


Can I also collect the items I have successfully bid on directly in the auctioning house?

Yes. As agreed before, you may also collect your items at our office directly. Please contact us in advance regarding a date for collection.


Can I return an item, if I do not like it?

No. According to German law governing auctions, the return of goods successfully bid on in an auction is not possible. For this reason, we would recommend that you personally inspect the items before the auction. If you have not had the opportunity to inspect the items at our place, we will be pleased to send you detailed pictures by mail.


What happens to the unsold items? Can I buy them?

The unsold items are sold in an after-sale held after the auction at their announced prices.

This after-sale lasts two weeks. During this time you may purchase the items at their announced prices, plus the normal buyer's premium.
